Taylor Swift drops surprise new single

Berks County’s own Taylor Swift has teamed up with Zayn Malik for a surprise new single off the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

Swift, who hasn’t put out new music since 1989 in 2014, teased the track, dubbed “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” Thursday night on social media with artwork and a preview of the song:

Written for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, the track puts Swift alongside Malik, who formerly performed alongside Swift’s ex-boyfriend Harry Styles in One Direction. Malik departed the group last year to release Mind of Mine, his first solo album.
The full track is available to download via iTunes. The Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack will see a release Feb. 10 via Republic Records.
