Far from the End of the Road: Boyz II Men Blvd

Philadelphia’s own, Boyz II Men recently had a portion of Avenue of the Arts named after them, Boyz II Men Blvd.

The block on the Avenue is from Carpenter to Christian streets, the same place where Philadelphia High School for the Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA) is. Boyz II Men are also alumni of CAPA, having attended with Black Thought & Questlove of The Roots.

Still active after a 20 year career, to have a street not only in their hometown named after them, but in front of their alma mater is a monumental achievement. Utmost respect to Philly’s Own, Boyz II Men.
